I received my MSN from Simons University in Boston, Massachusetts, through their Family Nurse Practitioner Program. As a FNP I have previously worked completing wellness visits in homes. I joined NWSPM due to their multidisciplinary approach to pain medicine which coincides with my philosophy for practice.
As a young child I knew I wanted to be a nurse and help others. I started my medical career as a med tech in the Air Force Reserves where I spent some time over in Germany caring for men and women who were injured in Iraq and Afghanistan prior to them flying home to the states. This further ignited my passion to help others. I have worked as a certified nursing assistant, medical assistant, licensed practical nurse and register nurse before going back to school for nurse practitioner.
I grew up in Puyallup, Washington, and after several moves due to military life moved to Spokane, Washington, in 2016. I enjoy spending time outside with my family and discovering new areas to explore. My favorite past time however is baking.
