Don Halcrow

Doctor of Chiropractic and Physician Assistant Provider Profile

Dr. Halcrow obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland Oregon. For many years he treated patients in Bend, Oregon where he developed a strong understanding of the connection between the body’s structure and its function. Utilizing conservative therapies he helped many people; however, he wanted to offer patients even more and therefore attended the University of Washington’s Physician Assistant program here in Spokane. Naturally he chose to continue to work in orthopedics where he assisted in surgery for the next three years and helped to care for patients of all ages including top college athletes from Oregon State University. Don’s focus however remains the same, to address a patient’s concerns from a functional point of view and to help them reach their goals for improvement.

Overcoming a football injury led him to his career in health care and taught him that various modalities, from conservative treatments to minimally invasive procedures, can be employed to initiate healing. His own recovery motivated him to help others achieve the same success. Don appreciates the holistic, multidisciplinary approach that Northwest Spine and Pain offers to patients.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta he now calls Spokane home and appreciates the many outdoor activities here. He enjoys time with his family and friends and is an avid skier, golfer, hiker and cyclist...“My dilemma”, he says, “is which activity to do on the weekend.”
